Patches is a well gaited mare who
has and will produce super smooth
gaited foals when bred to the right
stallion. Her 2007 filly, Shawnee,
is a dream to watch with her
naturally smooth gaits and has the
disposition we love.........just easy
to train and handle and enjoys the
company of people. You can
even give this filly shots and worm
her without a halter!
Patches is trained to ride and
was used at a working cow ranch
this summer. In 2008 we kept her
open for training as we believe all
mares should be trained riding
horses and not "just" broodmares.
She is good for adult riders.
It's going to be a grueling time
waiting for Patches' next foal!
Due in August 09, Patches is in
foal to our new direct son of
Danney Joe W!! His name is
Danney Joe Dusty and he is an
awesome stallion in all ways!! This
means that Patches will have a
guaranteed Curly Fox Trotter foal
that is a grand child to the late,
great Danney Joe! If her last filly
is any indication of the type of
foals we will be getting from
Patches and top quality MFT
stallions, then we are VERY
happy. It gives me chills just
thinking about this next cross.
Either a colt or filly, it's not likely
that this one will leave the the
farm........ever! : )

Congratulations Jennifer
and family!
Patches is headed to
Texas after weaning her
2009 foal!
$12,500 open
Patches is currently in foal to Danney
Joe Dusty and we wish to keep her
2009 foal.
We will assist in breeding her to the
stallion of your choice nationwide via A.I.
upon her 30 day heat after the arrival of
this foal. As soon as the foal is weaned,
Patches will be ready for you to pick up.
Though she is trained to ride, we are
offering Patches to the right breeding
home only. She is an extremely rare
mare and must be utilized to further the
breed. Appropriate international homes
welcome.
International breeders: I would highly
recommend breeding shipping Patches safely
in foal to Curly MFT stallion, Sad Sam!! He
does not have many years left and his
bloodline has been much more selectively
used than some WPT stallions. He is also a
very viable, a good quality curly stallion and we
hear his owners are a pleasure to work with.
