We have been seeking out horses
from old style MFT stock and April
fits the bill!  She comes from
fabulous, smooth gaited old
bloodlines.  Her sire was a world
grand champion as was her
brother.  Her true old style fox trot
is so smooth to ride, all natural
and she rarely breaks gait.  It just
gives me chills to watch her move.

April is no stranger to the show ring and
has won four times in model at the
world level.  She has also won many
other smooth gaited horse competitions
and won in model at the national level
as well.

Not only is she one of the highest
quality representatives of old style Fox
Trotters in the world, she is a fantastic
trail horse who has been the trail
mount for children and beginner adults
alike and takes care of her rider.  We
have been riding her through town, on
busy roads, though heavy winds and
on rough, rocky and steep trails.  She
has excellent endurance, a
comfortable ride, rides with other
horses wonderfully and  knows that
when she is under saddle, it's time for
business!   April is one classy girl and
does a great job for us.  She is
currently Lisa's trail horse and we
could not be happier.  Craig actually
watches from behind in envy.  I might
let him ride her
sometime............maybe.  ; )
